Since 2001, I have worked consulting with many technology-based companies ranging from large, established businesses to true start-ups. Typically, I work directly with the president of the company or a member of the leadership team. My responsibilities have covered a wide range of issues, including development of strategic plans and new product development programs, creation of sales and marketing strategies and management of organizational development issues, such as employee recruitment, assessment and training.
Videon Central
Videon Central, located in State College, PA is a multi-million dollar, highly profitable business that is the #1 supplier of middleware to Blu-ray players in the world. The company is a pioneer in digital video technologies, and has a customer base that includes Intel, Broadcom, Honeywell and many other industry leaders.
Since 2006, I have worked with the company’s president and his leadership team on many issues, including the assessment of strategic initiatives, development of sales and marketing plans and the evaluation, hiring and mentoring of key personnel.
DiamondBack Automotive
DiamondBack Automotive, located in Philipsburg, PA manufactures patent protected diamond plate truck covers. The product was developed in one of my entrepreneurship classes at Penn State by two students who are now the principal owners of the company. Since 2003, I have assisted with every aspect of the business, including raising initial funds, strategy development, sales and marketing programs and a wide range of operational and organizational issues. I am a member of the board of directors and serve as the principal advisor to the president of the company.
